A type of capacitor made of two strips of metal foil for its plates and strips of waxed paper for its dielectric. Leads are attached to the metal foil, and the foil and waxed paper are formed into a tight, compact roll. The entire roll is then encapsulated in a plastic resin. A mark or line around one end of a paper capacitor identifies the lead attached to the outside layer of foil.

A type of carburetor or continuous-flow fuel injection system that uses the pressure drop across a servo bleed orifice (a metering jet) to control the amount of metered fuel allowed to flow to the cylinders. The servo system adjusts for changes in inlet fuel pressure so the pressure of the fuel sent to the cylinders is proportional only to the amount of air being drawn into the cylinders.

A type of circuit breaker that opens an electrical circuit when excessive current flows through it. Movable contacts are mounted on a bimetallic strip which is bent in such a way that they are forced tightly against fixed contacts in the circuit breaker housing. When more current than the circuit breaker is designed to carry flows through the bimetallic strip, the strip heats up and warps. When it warps, it snaps the contacts apart and opens the circuit.
