Եթերային յուղ

եթերային յուղը բուսական նյութերից արտահանված հեղուկ ցնդող նյութերի հոտավետ խառնուրդ է: եթերային յուղերի մեծ մասը հեշտությամբ լուծվում է բենզինի, եթերի, լիպիդների եւ ճարպային յուղերի մեջ, իսկ մոմերի եւ այլ լիպոֆիլ նյութերի, ինչպես նաև ջրի մեջ շատ վատ են լուծվում: Եթերային յուղեր լուծելիությունը սպիրտի մեջ մեծապես կախված է դրա տոկոսայնությունից (այն զգալիորեն նվազում է ջրի առկայության դեպքում):
