Line judge

There are four line judges. They sit behind the baseline, even with the alley far enough back so they would not be involved in the play of the game. They make calls of whether or not a ball lands in or out of bounds and any fault committed by a player. If this happens they signal the umpire verbally or with some kind of a visual sign.
